Niagara Falls, NY – The Seneca Gaming Corporation announced reforms to its operation Wednesday. Cochise Redeye, Seneca Gaming's new board chair, says many changes will take place over the next several months.
Redeye says these changes will be made in order to ensure a better system of checks and balances over their affairs.
Redeye's comments follow recent controversy over the leak of information from an audit investigation into a land purchase by Seneca Gaming. Redeye offered few comments on reports yesterday that he wants former chair Barry Snyder, Sr. removed from the gaming board. Snyder, who is president of the Seneca Nation, has told other tribal officials that he is not interested in being re-appointed to his seat.
Seneca Gaming runs three casinos in Niagara Falls, Salamanca and Buffalo.
