Albany, NY – University of Cincinnati President Nancy Zimpher will become the State University of New York's first woman chancellor on June 1st.
Despite New York's fiscal crisis, Zimpher says she wants to continue investing in SUNY, transforming it into a top level research institution. She joined Governor David Paterson for a brief ceremony late Tuesday afternoon where her appointment was officially announced.
