Buffalo, NY – An area Internet and e-mail provider has shut down. BuffNET issued an e-mail to its customers earlier this week that it would be shutting down its business as of Thursday, January 8th.
BuffNET has provided service in the region since 1995. One customer tells WBFO News he experienced weeks of trouble with BuffNET service before being informed that it would close. He claims customers were given no prior notice.
WBFO made attempts to contact BuffNET, but there was no answer.
