Hoover Middle School Student Dies

Buffalo, NY – A 12 year old seventh grader collapsed during a basketball practice at Ken-Ton's Hoover Middle School Wednesday evening.

First responders arrived within minutes, but despite lengthy efforts, Desha Sanders was pronounced dead at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Guidance counselors and school psychologists have set up a care center in the Sheridan Drive school, to provide grief counseling for students, teachers and staffers.
