Buffalo, NY – The first baby to arrive in Western New York in 2009 arrived at 12:17 a.m. New Year's Day at Sisters Hospital in Buffalo. Lihong Liao and her husband Chuangang Lin of Amherst welcomed the arrival of their daughter Nicole. She weighed 7 pounds, 1.9 ounces.
Women and Children's Hospital in Buffalo welcomed its first baby of 2009. Sierra Cremeno gave birth New Year's morning at the hospital. Her son Aiden weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces.
At Mercy Hospital in South Buffalo, Patti Hartel delivered her son Ayden at 12:38 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. He weighed in at just 5 pounds, 12 ounces.
