Buffalo, NY – Erie County made a little history of its own last night. The third generation of one of Buffalo's best-known political families was elected to his first public office.
It was a hard fought campaign for both candidates. But Frank Sedita, III, says he had a secret weapon that helped him win the race -- a campaign button worn by his grandfather, a longtime Buffalo mayor. His father is a judge. But Sedita says he ran for the office of District Attorney to do what he does best -- prosecute cases. But he says he had no idea his first case -- the campaign -- would be so tough.
