Buffalo, NY – WBFO presents another story that was recorded at StoryCorps in Buffalo this past summer. Gladys Harbison is 85 years young. She was born in Pennsylvania oil country -- the small town of Pleasantville. One day, Gladys came across an advertisement from a Buffalo hospital that was seeking nursing students, launching her career as a registered nurse.
