Buffalo, NY – Forbes magazine says Buffalo is among the top ten fastest dying cities in the nation. But the leader of the Queen City believes Buffalo is alive and well.
The Forbes' article says Buffalo qualifies for the listing because of its declining population and slow economic growth. According to Forbes, this listing highlights Rust Belt cities that have struggled the worst in the U.S. in the 21st century.
Mayor Byron Brown says there is no question Buffalo has lost population since the year 2000. But he believes the City is on an upswing.
