Buffalo, NY – An Orchard Park air cargo company that paid $28 million in fines for over-billing the military says it is resuming its work with the U.S. government.
National Air Cargo says the Air Force has lifted a temporary suspension, and that the company has resumed full operations under a new president and chief executive. Owner Christopher Alf no longer has any role in operations.
Under a corporate plea deal in October, National Air Cargo admitted to overcharging for military shipments from 1999 to 2005. In recent years, much of the business involved the transportation of supplies within Iraq and Afghanistan.
