Buffalo, NY – A Jamestown native is the latest to die in Iraq.
27 year old Staff Sergeant David Texto died Tuesday. Authorities say he was killed in Mosul from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident.
Sergeant Texto was an Army Green Beret. He had been serving in Iraq since May.
Texto was a graduate of Randolph Central High School. He joined the army in 2002.
Texto was based in Fort Lewis in Washington. He leaves behind his wife and five children.
