Buffalo, NY – Many tears have been shed in recent days over the death of broadcast journalist Tim Russert, especially here in Buffalo where he was raised. In the case of Tim Russert, many of us are truly grieving, as if he was a close relative.

Victoria Palmisano is an associate clinical professor at the University at Buffalo and an expert in grief counseling. She joined us on the phone to talk more about this.
