Newfane, NY – A missing toddler from Newfane has been found safe and sound.

The Niagara County Sheriff's Department had issued a missing child alert for two year old Giana Lynn Bootes Thursday afternoon. She was last seen with a 33 year old man identified as her mother's boyfriend, David Figueroa-Oehler, also of Newfane.

The little girl was found at a Super Eight Motel on Sheridan Drive in the Town of Tonawanda.

Police have taken the man into custody for questioning. They say he's likely to be charged.
