Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Board of Education met Monday with attorney David Edmunds Jr., who was named by the board last week to investigate the circumstances regarding the seven week suspension of a McKinley High School senior earlier this school year.
Jayvonna Kincannon was suspended for several minor school violations after she publicly spoke out in support of fired volunteer basketball coach Michelle Stiles.
Edmunds promises an impartial fact-finding probe, and says all parties involved will be treated with respect and dignity.
He told board members he hopes to finish his work in 30 days.
