Buffalo, NY – Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson says playing eight games in Toronto is an effort to regionalize his team. But fans are worried that it is a sign of things to come. Wilson appeared in Toronto yesterday at a news conference to discuss this latest marketing effort.

Ralph Wilson says he won't speculate about the future of the Bills. But he says fans should not worry for now. Wilson met with reporters Wednesday at the Rogers Center, home of the Blue Jays. That is where the Bills will play five regular season and three pre-season games over the next five years.

Wilson says for now the Bills organization is focused only on those games, insisting it is to help strength the teams viability in Buffalo.

Long time sports writer Jim Kelley, who works in both Buffalo and Toronto, weighs in on the issue. He says fans question if this is a marketing effort to expand the territory or a ploy to entice future bidders of the Bills franchise.
