Buffalo, NY – Top leaders of the Buffalo Fiscal Stability Authority disagree that it is time to end a hard control board in the City.
Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown has declared that the City no longer needs a hard control board. A few weeks ago Brown said the City has completed all the requirements needed to move the board into an advisory role.
But Control board chairman Paul Kolkmeyer disagrees. He says the city needs to provide three consecutive years of balanced budgets without the control boards help.
