Buffalo, NY – The Town Ballroom will be the scene of Bacchanalian frivolity next week, when Buffalo and New Orleans jazz-funk bands light the fuse on six hours of music.
The Mardi Gras Jam caps off a series of eight Big Easy in Buffalo shows that started last April and highlighted the best of New Orleans, Zydeco, jazz, funk and Cajun music.
Big Easy in Buffalo is a joint production of the Niagara Erie Regional Coalition, the Buffalo Niagara Convention & Visitors Bureau Foundation and Music Is Art.
This final show is next Friday at the Town Ball room. It is an ambitious event that will feature six bands, tons of beads and lots of Pat O'Brien's Hurricane mix.
Tickets are available at tickets.com, the Town Ballroom Box Office or at New World Record. Visit the event's website, where you can read-up on featured artists.
