Buffalo, NY – Buffalo Bills General Manager Marv Levy told Buffalo Bills players Monday morning that he is resigning.
Bills safety George Wilson tells The Associated Press that Levy opened the team's wrap-up meeting with a five-minute address and told players he won't return as general manager. Levy has been the team's GM for two seasons.
Reports of his resignation began surfacing after the Bills ended their season yesterday with a 17-9 loss at Philadelphia, to finish with a 7 and 9 record. It was the eight straight season the team missed the playoffs, a franchise record.
