Buffalo, NY – In just a few days, Erie County Executive Joel Giambra will end his eight year reign at the Rath Building. But he rounded up reporters for one last news conference to talk about County finances.
County Executive Giambra told reporters he is leaving the County on solid financial footing. Giambra is projecting a more than $12 million budget surplus. But he also took the opportunity to place some harsh criticism on the Erie County Fiscal Stability Authority, declaring it ineffective.
