Kevin Everett Walking, Bills-Miami Game Sells Out

By Mark Scott

Buffalo, NY – Injured Buffalo Bills tight end Kevin Everett is walking on his own at his Houston home.

A person close to the Everett family tells the Associated Press that Everett has been walking under his own power since his release from a rehab center three weeks ago. He is now an outpatient -- with daily rehab sessions.

Doctors initially feared Everett would never walk again after he suffered a severe spinal cord injury while making a tackle in the season-opener against Denver.

And Sunday's Buffalo Bills game against Miami at Ralph Wilson Stadium is a sell-out, allowing it to be televised locally. Frey Electric Company purchased the remaining tickets by Friday's 1:00 extended deadline.

Frey will donate the tickets to two non-profit agencies.

The game will mark the seventh sell-out this season for the Bills.
