Buffalo, NY – The annual "Open Door" report by the Institute of International Education places the University at Buffalo at the top among public research universities for the percentage of international students enrolled.
UB had more than 4,100 international students during the 2006-2007 academic year, representing 15 percent of total student enrollment. It's estimated the overall economic impact of international students and their families is nearly 70 million dollars a year.
UB plans to increase enrollment of international students by one thousand between now and the year 2020.
