Buffalo, NY – The attorney for Altemio Sanchez, the so-called "Bike Path Rapist and killer," says Sanchez has admitted to raping between 12 and 15 women since 1979.
Prosecutors suspected he was involved in several of the cases. He was linked to eight rapes through DNA evidence.
Sanchez was convicted on three murder counts involving the deaths of three area women. H is sentencing on the murder charges is scheduled for Tuesday.
Sanchez will not face prosecution for the rapes since their statutes of limitations have expired.
