Buffalo, NY – "Business First" is releasing its list of the region's top elementary schools -- both public and private -- Friday. Smallwood Elementary and Christ the King School -- located less than a mile from each other in Snyder -- are number one and two.
Students at both schools have consistently performed well on Math and English exams administered over the past four years.
Here is the list of the top 25 elementary schools:

Christian Central Academy (Williamsville) 6. P.S. 64 Frederick Law Olmsted (Buffalo) 7. Immaculate Conception School (East Aurora) 8. Ledgeview Elementary School (Clarence) 9. St. Christopher's School (Sweet Home) 10. South Davis Elementary School (Orchard Park) 11. Charlotte Avenue Elementary School (Hamburg) 12. Maple East Elementary School (Williamsville) 13. St. Gregory the Great School (Williamsville) 14. Nardin Academy Elementary School (Buffalo) 15. Country Parkway Elementary School (Williamsville) 16. Nativity of Our Lord School (Orchard Park) 17. Sheridan Hill Elementary School (Clarence) 18. Armor Elementary School (Hamburg) 19. St. John Lutheran School (Niagara-Wheatfield) 20. St. Peter's Lutheran School (Niagara-Wheatfield) 21.
