Business First Ranks Nardin Academy as Region's Top High School, City Honors Second

Buffalo, NY – The first combined listing of public and private high school rankings was unveiled Wednesday by "Business First."

After five years as the top private high school in the region, Nardin Academy is number one on the combined list. And, the top public school in Western New York for ten years, City Honors, has finished at number two on the combined list.

Here is the ranking of the top 25 high schools: 1. Nardin Academy High School (Buffalo) 2. City Honors School (Buffalo) 3. Williamsville East High School (Williamsville) 4. Clarence Senior High School (Clarence) 5. Holy Angels Academy (Buffalo) 6. Williamsville North High School (Williamsville) 7. St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Kenmore-Tonawanda) 8. Orchard Park High School (Orchard Park) 9. Alfred-Almond Junior-Senior High School (Alfred-Almond) 10. East Aurora High School (East Aurora) 11. Eden Junior-Senior High School (Eden) 12. LeRoy Junior-Senior High School (LeRoy) 13. Iroquois Senior High School (Iroquois) 14. Christian Central Academy (Williamsville) 15. Williamsville South High School (Williamsville) 16. Buffalo Academy of The Sacred Heart (Amherst) 17. Maple Grove Junior-Senior High School (Bemus Point) 18. Amherst Central High School (Amherst) 19. Alden Senior High School (Alden) 20. Holland High School (Holland) 21. Immaculata Academy (Frontier) 22. Mount St. Mary Academy (Kenmore-Tonawanda) 23. Grand Island Senior High School (Grand Island) 24. Some private schools, such as Nichols, Park, Buffalo Seminary and Canisius, are not included since they do not administer state Regents exams, which is a major source of the ranking data.
