By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – Scientists from Hauptman-Woodward in Buffalo and the University of Rochester have reached a major breakthrough in the studies of human proteins involved in disease.

WBFO'S Eileen Buckley talked with one of the local scientist involved in his remarkable discovery.

Dr. Michael Malkowski of Williamsville is a research scientist. He was involved in a collaboration with a scientist at the University of Rochester.

They have now discovered how to better study the structure of human proteins involved in disease. Dr. Malkowski joined us on the phone line this morning from his Buffalo office.
