Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff's deputies have murder suspect Robert Henchen under guard at the Erie County Medical Center.
The 42 year-old man was sent to ECMC earlier this week following his arraignment for the murder of two elderly Southtowns women. He is listed in fair condition.
Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard says Henchen fell out of his hospital bed early Wednesday morning.
Officials say that Henchen began acting strangely soon after the bodies of the two women from Colden and Marilla were found.
