Buffalo, NY – Anthony Capozzi was released early Tuesday morning from the Marcy Correctional Facility in Central New York. Capozzi was reportedly met by family members at 5:30am.
On Monday, Erie County Court Judge Shirley Troutman ordered that Capozzi's rape conviction be dismissed. Capozzi has served more than 20 years in prison for two rapes that occurred during the 1980s in Delaware Park.
