Buffalo, NY – Day one of the week long Catholic Charities appeal has raised 71.5 percent of its $11 million goal.
Dave Uba, chairman of this year's campaign, says there is still a lot of work left to do.
"With just seven days left, there is no time to waste," Uba said. "We still need to raise $3.1 million. This is absolutely achieveable."
The campaign, which raises money for a variety of human services programs across Western New York, is scheduled to end next Sunday.
