"100 Mighty Men" Re-Directs Effort to Fight City Crime

By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – An organization known as the "100 Mighty Men" is re-directing its efforts this year to help curb violent crimes.

100 Mighty Men originated at the True Bethel Baptist Church in Buffalo. It is made up of men from the African-American community. Rudolphus Boans, Jr. is vice president of the group. He says part of the organization's step up effort for this year will be to work in neighborhoods with some of the worst crime and reach out to city youth.
