Author, NPR Commentator Discusses "Fame Junkies"

Buffalo, NY – Do you ever wonder why it is we care who Paris Hilton is dating? Or why most print media is dying while there is circulation explosion for celebrity magazines? According to author Jake Halpern, it's because we are becoming a nation of fame junkies. And he did the research to back up that claim.

The native Buffalonian and NPR commentator will be in town tonight to read from his new book, entitled, Fame Junkies. WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with Halpern about his starry-eyed research that reveals the darker side of the spotlight.
