Buffalo, NY – UB President John Simpson has returned from a nine-day trip to Asia. Simpson was among 12 university leaders from across the nation who were asked to join US Department of Education Secretary Margaret Spellings.
Simpson was part of a delegation that met with academic, government and business leaders in China, Japan and Korea, ALL in an effort to explain why the US is interested in enrolling Asian students into American colleges and universities.
UB is already recognized worldwide for its international education program, and just last week it moved from number 11 to ten on a list of accredited universities for international student enrollment.
