Buffalo, NY – The State Thruway Authority voted Monday morning to stop the collection of tolls on the Niagara section of the Thruway.
The 75-cent toll was collected on the northbound 190 at South Ogden Street and on the southbound 190 at Breckinridge Street.
Monday's vote is actually a temporary reprieve. Further action will be needed later to permanently end the tolls and to physically remove the barriers.
