Buffalo, NY – Changes are continuing at the Erie County Fiscal Stability Authority.
In recent weeks, Anthony Baynes was appointed as the new chairman of the control board. Now, it's being reported that Executive Control Board Director Lee Van Riper and the man in charge of the four year plan, Fran Ritzenhaler, are resigning.
Baynes says the board is looking to the business community for replacements.
"We've been speaking to several business leaders," Baynes said. "We're looking for someone with a background in finance and government service -- someone who can deal with the public and press."
Also stepping aside is Authority counsel Greg Stamm.
Baynes also says that the board will be moving its headquarters out of the Ellicott Square Building into rent-free county facilities in the Rath Building.
