Buffalo, NY – The Erie County Fiscal Stability Authority is getting new leadership.
Governor Pataki appointed Amherst businessman Anthony Baynes as chairman Tuesday, succeeding Ned Regan. Baynes has served as the board's treasurer.
Baynes, who is an advocate of a stronger control board, said he will move the board's headquarters from the Ellicott Square Building to rent-free county owned office space.
Businessman William Joyce has been appointed vice chair, and another vacancy on the board will be filled by business executive Joseph Goodell.
