WNY Native Killed in Iraq

Buffalo, NY – A Western New York native has been killed in Iraq.

Relatives of 23-year-old Army Sergeant Michael Rowe say he was killed by a roadside bomb last Tuesday -- just one day before his 24th birthday.

Rowe was born in Buffalo and grew up in Genesee County before his family moved to Florida years ago. He and his wife were expecting their first child July.
