St. Bonaventure Student Found Dead from Apparent Seizure

By Associated Press

Buffalo, NY – Authorities say a student found dead in a dormitory at Saint Bonaventure University apparently died of an epileptic seizure.

The university issued a statememt saying John Dlugosz was found dead in his room in Francis Hall by residence staff Saturday night. According to state police, there were no signs of foul play.

Dlugosz suffered from epilepsy and officials say preliminary signs show that he had an epileptic seizure. The Cattaraugus County Coroner's office has scheduled an autopsy Monday.

Dlugosz was a political science major and active with the rugby team. Several family members are graduates of Saint Bonaventure and John's younger sister is a freshman at the University.

The University is offering counseling at various locations on campus.
