Buffalo, NY – Republican Timothy Howard has been sheriff for just a few months. He was named to the post following the resignation of Patrick Gallivan earlier this year. With Election Day now a week away, Sheriff Howard finds himself in a contentious race against his Democratic challenger, former Buffalo Homicide Chief Charles Fieramusca.
