Jamestown, NY – Congressman Brian Higgins holds a Town Hall meeting on Social Security reform in Jamestown Thursday. Higgins will use the forum to release a report on the impact President Bush's ideas for reforming Social Security would have on the 27th congressional district.
Since his State of the Union address, the President has traveled across the nation pushing his idea for private Social Security accounts. One of the most vocal opponents of that is the AARP. Ridge Multop is the group's senior legislative representative. Click the "listen" icon above to hear Multop's interview with WBFO's Mark Scott.
Multop will be joining Congressman Higgins at a Town Hall meeting on Social Security reform Thursday afternoon at 2 at the Jackson Center in Jamestown.
