Buffalo, NY – Governor George Pataki is expected to name another expert in government budgets to the Erie County control board. The Buffalo News reports that former Pataki administration budget division director Carole Stone will be the governor's fourth and final candidate for the board.
Stone managed the 100 billion dollar state budget in the wake of the September 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City.
The governor's four appointments are expected to be officially announced today, plus appointments by the state comptroller, state Senate and state Assembly.
