Buffalo, NY – Erie County Comptroller Nancy Naples is one of the area's highest ranking female politicians. But Naples announced this week she's stepping aside. Well, the YWCA wants to encourage other women to maybe take her place, or seek another public office. And they can help.
Every other year the YWCA offers a two-day workshop to teach women the skills they need to run a successful campaign. WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with the YWCA's Susan Clements about why this may be the year for women to ride in on the political tide.

Registration is open for the two-day program that will be held the weekend of May 14th and 15th at the downtown YWCA.
