Buffalo, NY – Democrats across the state are casting their votes in the New York presidential primary today.
Polls will be open until 9pm.
Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts is expected to earn enough votes from the ten-state Super Tuesday primaries to capture the Democratic Party nomination. Senator John Edwards of North Carolina is hoping to win Georgia to keep his campaign alive.
Only New Yorkers enrolled in the Democratic Party by February 6th are allowed to vote in the Democratic presidential primary.
There is no Republican presidential primary this year because President Bush is unopposed for the GOP nomination in New York.
