Buffalo, NY – Adult education programs in the Buffalo school system could be cancelled or relocated due to the district's financial problems.
Superintendent Marion Canedo says the district needs to concentrate on its pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade curriculum, if other agencies can provide programs for adults.
About 8,000 adults are currently enrolled in the $6.6 million program, which costs the district itself as much as $500,000.
