Buffalo, NY – The Albright Knox is once again hoping to bring a new beat to the art gallery. Tickets are now on sale for the fifth annual "Art of Jazz" music series at the gallery.
The first show isn't until October, but promoters say you'd probably better not wait if you want to experience a little jazz with your art this fall.
WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with Bruce Eaton, the producer for the successful music series.
The Albright Knox Art of Jazz series was a novel idea when it began a few years ago. But Eaton said it was an idea that quickly caught on.
He said, at a time when other entertainment venues are struggling, the Art of Jazz series has sold out every one of it's past performance - sometimes well in advance.
This year Eaton said they've added an additional show to try to meet demand. He says it's a nice problem to have.
