Buffalo, NY – Mark Hamister's bid to purchase the Buffalo Sabres continues to face hurdles.
The Buffalo News reports that the latest snag arose last Wednesday in the form of a fax of conditions from creditors of Adelphia Cable Communications.
Hamister had hoped to finalize his purchase bid on Friday, but instead received possibly his last deal extension from the National Hockey League.
Meanwhile, County Executive Joel Giambra reportedly has offered to host a joint meeting with Hamister and Rochester businessman Thomas Golisano, who says he is still interested in buying the team.
