Washington, DC – New York's nursing homes came out about in the middle of the pack in the nation's first federal assessment on the quality of nursing home care. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Tuesday released its report card on the 17,000 nursing homes across the country.
According to the report, of the 47 nursing homes in Erie County, only three received a clean bill of health. Click the "listen" icon above to hear Joyce Kryszak's report.
