Buffalo, NY – The convenience store robbery last Wednesday that led to the death of a Buffalo police officer in a traffic accident has resulted in two arrests.
Darin Bonner, Jr., 20, and Jalik Grissom, 19, have been charged with first degree robbery and fourth degree conspiracy. Grissom was a clerk in the store at the time of the holdup, and is said to be in on the plan.
A search for a third suspect, identified as Jamar Mack, 19, is underway.
Officer James Shields died, and his partner Kimberly Monteforte was seriously injured, when their patrol car struck a tree while they were pursuing a Metro Bus in which the suspects were alleged to be riding.
