America's Historical Fascination with Skyscrapers

By Joyce Kryszak

Buffalo, NY – America's long fascination with skyscrapers is the subject of a new exhibition at the Historical Society. For the next three months, the museum will explore the subject of skyscrapers, from the bottom to the top. Lecture topics include, who designs them, who builds them, why, and if they even should be anymore.

Click the "listen" icon above to hear WBFO's Joyce Kryszak telephone interview with Wednesday night's lecturer, MIT urban design professor Sam Bass-Warner.

Bass-Warner's lecture begins at 7:30 at the Historical Society.
