Buffalo, NY – Buffalo Mayor Anthony Masiello says he is outraged at another round of freshly painted graffiti on a concrete bridge wall along the Delaware Avenue "S" curves.
Masiello says the city "has had enough" and is putting together an "aggressive" action plan. He says the plan may include a reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for defacing public property.
"This is horrible. It is absolutely uncalled for and we've had enough," Masiello said. "Whoever is defacing city buildings and private property, and ruining the quality of life in the city, needs to know that we have to catch and punish them to put an end to this kind of graffiti."
Masiello says police don't known if the graffiti is gang related, but believe it is the same vandals who have defaced other city property in recent months, including sections of the Kensington Expressway and some vacant downtown buildings.
