Kaleida VP Steps Down

Buffalo, NY – A top Kaleida health executive is resigning.

Carrie Frank, executive vice president, is stepping down, having overseen Kaleida's corporate operations since its formation in 1998. Before that she was associated with Buffalo General Hospital for nearly 20 years.

Frank will stay with the system for a short period of time. The effective date of her resignation will be determined in early April.

"I have been incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunities that Kaleida and Buffalo General have afforded me," Frank said. "Moreover, I have had the great opportunity to work with and learn from the talented people who make up this system."

"Carrie's vision, leadership and knowledge have made her an extraordinary asset to Kaleida, its physicians and employees, said Kaleida President William McGuire.

McGuire said Kaleida Chief of Staff Kathleen Galvin would assume Frank's responsibilities.
