The 50th Anniversary Gala for Native American Community Services (NACS) is a milestone celebration honoring five decades of culturally grounded service to Indigenous and underserved communities across Western New York. This elegant evening will include dinner, guest speakers, cultural performances, a basket raffle, and recognition of key partners and community leaders. The event will reflect Haudenosaunee values of unity, gratitude, and stewardship, while also raising critical funds to support NACS’s programs in health, education, family wellness, and cultural preservation.

If you've ever wanted to be part of a book club, but can't find time to do the homework, join us! We'll check in at the beginning, then read aloud from writings on care and community we've found meaningful. Some will volunteer to read while others are invited to continue doing life while listening- washing dishes, walking, fixing dinner, caretaking on mute, and then joining for discussion after the reading is complete. Afterwards, we'll ask: what did we learn? How does it fit into our actual lives? Our goal is to let the reading be in conversation with life, and make a book club more accessible for folks who don't have time or ability to read independently.

As the YWCA of WNY continues to celebrate 155 years of steadfast service to the community, we have partnered with FeedMore WNY in our effort to advocate for equity access. Through this partnership we are facilitating access to healthy foods, which is a social determinant of health associated with neighborhood and built environment. This collaboration will directly benefit the Black Rock Community & our Buffalo neighbors.
