Warren County Tales
Warren County Tales
The Wilder Museum of Warren County History, 51 Erie Ave., Irvine, PA, presents Warren County Tales, an evening of storytelling with William DeVlieger, author of Wendigo War. This free, family-friendly event will take place on Wednesday, August 28, at 6:00 PM and is open to the public. Bring a chair and a friend.
A native of Warren County, Mr. DeVlieger graduated from Northland College and became a history and social studies teacher at the Bad River Reservation in Wisconsin, the home of the Anishinaabe Ojibwe Nation. What started as a desire to write about his experiences on the reservation became his first novel when his lifelong passion for storytelling combined with the tribe’s environmental battles to provide him with the inspiration for a suspense-thriller.
The Wilder Museum is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 1-5 PM through Labor Day. Additional hours from September 6 through October 12 will be Friday and Saturday from 1-5 PM.
